Vitamin Rich Diet Salad

Ingredients :

1 head fresh Broccoli
10 florets Cauliflower
2 Carrots
1 table spoon Lime juice
Any Vegetable dresser

Directions :

Chop the florets of Broccoli head and Cauliflower.  Take a heavy bottom wide pan with a very little amount of oil and heat it on a medium flame. As the pan gets warmed up, add the chopped Broccoli and Cauliflower florets, also the chopped Carrots.


Sprinkle handfull of water on the florets and mix them well. Now close the lid and allow them to cook until the pan gets dried up completely. 

Now, remove the lid and add a pinch of salt and black pepper to the veggies. Saute them finely for atleast 30 seconds, add 1 table spoon of Lime juice and remove from the flame. Keep aside for 5 min and let the veggies absorb the lime juice.

The nutritious vitamin C rich salad is ready to serve. 


This salad is much preferable in diet programs. Most of the diet programs suggest to take raw/cooked veggies which are hard to taste.. Instead of which we can proceed taking vegetables in this way. This way of cooking veggies helps them sustain their nutrition values too.
